Live Nation 3Q down on poor summer; outlook cut

Live Nation Entertainment Inc., the concert promoter that merged with Ticketmaster this year, said Thursday that its third-quarter net income fell after a dismal summer concert season. It said a surprise decline in October ticket sales means it will likely miss its earlier full-year profit forecast by about 5 percent.
